L’UFR accueille un nombre important de chercheurs CNRS et la recherche y occupe une place importante.
At the linguistics UFR of Université Paris Cité we study language from all angles, be it theoretical, empiric or epistemological. Being thoroughly interdisciplinary and open to international collaboration, the UFR has inherited a tradition of research and teaching built by the pioneers of the domain in France. The unit is the base for a number of CNRS researchers and research occupies an important place, particularly in the field of phonetics and phonology.
